FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many hours will we have on the property on my wedding day?
On your wedding day, you will have access to the farm for 14 hours, starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 11 pm. Events end at 10, guests depart by 10:30 and vendors depart by 11:00.
What is included in the rental price?
Your rental includes tables, chairs, linens, set-up, break down and access to our decor inventory. There will be a venue manager on site plus staff for parking cars and golf cart shuttle.
Do you offer all inclusive packages?
Yes! All inclusive packages are available for purchase through our wedding coordination partner (cake, catering, florals, DJ and wedding coordination).
Are there any other fees?
Just a couple! There is a cleaning fee / linen cleaning fee of $300 and you are required to purchase day of event insurance which can easily be purchased online through NUPTIAL and normally runs $250-$300.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes! You can bring your own alcohol which will save you at least $30 per person! We do require a licensed bartender to serve alchohol and we have some on our vendor list that you can choose from. Bartenders range from $300-$500 depending on the number of people and the type of drinks being served. If liquor is being served we strongly suggest hiring an off duty White County officer.
Do you require a wedding coordinator?
We do require a wedding coordinator for weddings over 50 guests. Weddings with less than 50, we don't require a coordinator.
Do you require a licensed caterer?
We do require a licensed and insured caterer to prepare and serve all food. The kitchen at Willow is a warming kitchen. Food can be warmed and served but not cooked in the kitchen. Food must be brought by caterer fully cooked. Caterers will bring staff to set up food, bus tables and clean up as well. One busser per 75 guests.
Can we have a food truck at Willow?
Yes! We love food trucks and they are so much fun!
What is the golf cart used for and who drives it?
The golf cart is a 6 seater and it is used to shuttle people from the parking lot and anyone who needs a ride to and from the ceremony site. We use it to take the bride and groom around the farm for photos and other general ride needs during the day. Our staff will drive the cart.
Do you have an ice maker?
Yes, there is a large capacity ice maker for your use. We also have 2 rolling coolers, an ice bucket and other misc. bartending supplies.
How many guests can you accommodate?
The indoor space can hold 170 guests with a dance floor. However, we have hosted weddings up to 250 and can re-arrange the space and utilize our outdoor pavilion to fit your needs.
Where should our out of town guests stay?
Willow Creek Farm is located between Helen and Dahlonega and both of these charming towns have lots of hotels, condos and cabins for rent. Helen has more than Dahlonega.
Can I use the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit?
Yes, let us know you want a fire and we will provide complimentary firewood and will also start the fire for you.
What about children?
We love children! We do ask that they are supervised by a parent at all times while on the farm.
